We are seeking a skilled Media Buyer to negotiate and procure advertising inventory for our company as a freelancer!
You will perform assigned responsibilities, collaborate with team
members, and adhere to company policies. Adaptability, initiative, and willingness to learn are
valued. Your ultimate goal will be to optimize ad exposure, surpass
competitors, and effectively manage budgets to achieve maximum impact.
Media Buyer responsibilities include:
- Developing effective media buying strategies.
- Comparing and negotiating ad space, rates, and time slots with various media outlets.
- Developing media planning to identify target audiences and craft effective campaigns.
- Optimize plans and budgets according to the best media mix to maximize ad exposure.
- Prepare schedules and adjust when needed.
- Experiment with new platforms and channels.
- Ensure ads are creative and displayed appropriately.
- Monitor costs and return on investment (ROI).
- Report to clients and build long-term relationships.
Requirements and skills:
- Proven experience as a Media Buyer or similar role; experience in digital media is preferred
- Familiarity with media-buying, planning and research
- Interest in following advertising and media trends
- Working knowledge of media analytics software (e.g. com Score)
- Good knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to details
- Critical thinking skills
- BSc/BA in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field
